Día de los Muertos with Chicanos Por La Causa and the Alex Kim Foundation: Free Health Services, Tacos, and More!

APC College partnered with the Alex Kim Foundation and Chicanos Por La Causa hosted a memorable Día de los Muertos celebration on October 24th, 2024, at 6850 W Indian School Rd in Phoenix, Arizona. This event honored tradition and supported the community with a range of essential health services.

Visitors had the opportunity to receive HIV testing and vaccinations for flu, COVID, and Mpox, creating a safer environment for everyone. APC College contributed by offering free medical services, promoting both preventive care and wellness.

In addition to the health services, the event featured vibrant cultural activities, including baile folklórico, raffles, prizes, and free tacos for all to enjoy. This celebration was a wonderful way to honor Mexican heritage while providing the community with valuable health resources in a lively, family-friendly atmosphere.

We extend our gratitude to everyone who joined us for this impactful day. Whether you came for the food, the culture, or to prioritize your health, we hope it was a day of connection, celebration, and support!

Thank you for being a part of this special Día de los Muertos event, and we look forward to more community gatherings in the future!
